
PIKE COUNTY, Mo. — With only three local contested races on the general election ballot, Pike County, MO went all republican in 2020 and the Louisiana Special Road District #3 will remain in place.
In the Pike County Assessor’s office, republican Tracy Riffle Foster unseated democratic incumbent Donna Dempsey Prior 4,261-3,263. In the coroner’s race, republican incumbent Chris Stark handily beat democratic challenger Margart Owens 5,305-2,122.
Citizens in the Louisiana Road District #3 determined if it should be dissolved. The nay votes got the nod with 1,032 votes to the 671 yes votes, keeping the district in place.
