
BOWLING GREEN, Mo. –Residents of Missouri, Iowa and Illinois have another reason to contact NECAC for help with housing.
NECAC staff members Carla Potts and Chery-Ann Phillips have passed testing to become certified counselors through the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
HUD requires passage to participate in its programs. The two studied for six months to pass the 90-question exam, which covered areas such as budgeting, credit, loans and foreclosure.
Potts is NECAC’s deputy director for housing development. Phillips is the agency’s homeownership programs director.
