NORTHEAST, Mo. — A May 28th deadline has been set for distribution of federal emergency food and shelter program money in 10 Missouri counties.
The funding comes from the Department of Homeland Security through the Federal Emergency management Agency. It covers Lewis, Lincoln, Macon, Marion, Monroe, Montgomery, Pike, Ralls, Shelby and Warren counties.
A board will determine how funding will be distributed among emergency food and shelter programs run by local agencies, which must meet eligibility guidelines.
Agencies that wish to apply should call Diana Hendrix at 573-735-2131.
