
CLARKSVILLE, Mo — Raintree Arts Council has awarded three scholarships to area students for 2026.
Ella Weber of Bowling Green is recipient of the $500 Jamie McIlroy Memorial Scholarship. Ella is the daughter of Bridget and Doug Weber and is a student at Our Lady of Good Success Academy in Louisiana, She lans to study nursing with a minor in art at Benedictine College in
Atchison, Kan.
McIlroy, who died in 2003, was a Clarksville artist and a founding member of Raintree with Bill Blakey, Pat Kerns and Jerry Epperson.
The $300 For Arts Sake Scholarship was awarded to Taylor Kallash of Bowling Green High School. Taylor is the daughter of Kenneth and Carrie Kallash and plans to attend the University of Missouri in Columbia.
The For Arts Sake Scholarship was established by the late Louisiana artist and former Raintree President Jon Moran. His idea was to encourage students with a passion for art.
The $500 Performing Arts Award went to Kaycee Charlton of Bowling Green High School. Kaycee is the daughter of Kenneth and Kimberly Charlton and plans to attend Maryville University in St. Louis.
Raintree Arts Council congratulates each of the awardees.
