KJFM SPORTS — Tonight, Clopton High School will be participating in the track meet at Wright City. The team’s spirits are high, as it will be the first meet in nice weather and they are hoping to see some medals earned, at the bare minimum, improved times.
When speaking to Josh Harvey about what he wanted to see at the meet, he said “I hope we see the relays improve, especially the handoffs and start times, and other than that just good sportsmanship.”
Other than that, the Hawks hope to see their thrower Bailey Baker continue to receive medals, and hopefully see her achieve her goal of breaking the school discus record.
No matter what, it is sure to be a fun and eventful meet. Hawk fans can take advantage of the nice weather and support the track team.
