
LOUISIANA, Mo. — Massman Construction Company has recently received the Build America Award for their construction of the new Champ Clark Bridge.
Massman earned the 2021 Associated General Contractors of America Build America Award in the Design-Build Civil category for the recently completed Champ Clark Bridge. The project included the design and construction of a new Mississippi River crossing at Louisiana and provides the Missouri Department of Transportation, Illinois Department of Transportation, and the local community a safe and reliable structure that will serve the traveling public for more than a century.
Additionally, the project earned a Build America Merit Award in the Marvin M. Black Partnering Excellence category in recognition of the team’s emphasis on collaboration and focus on shared success.
The Construction Risk Partners Build America Awards honor AGC members who build the nation’s most impressive construction projects ranging across the building, highway and transportation, utility infrastructure, and federal and heavy divisions. These awards will be presented at AGC’s annual convention this September in Orlando.
