Here is additional information on our Pittsfield Golf Cart Club Halloween parade on Oct. 28 11a (with a rain date of Oct. 29 1p). Anyone with an ATV, Gator, Side by Side, or Jeep should line up behind the golf carts at the high school parking lot by 10:30a. The judging of the parade vehicles for the “Best Theme” will take place at that time and announced uptown after the parade. Parade route will be going North on Monroe St. from the high school, to Adams St., then West on Adams St., and will end at Madison St. Immediately following the parade, the costume contest will take place on the North side of the Courthouse. Prizes will be awarded for the age groups of 0-5, 6-10, and 11-adult. The categories will be “scariest”, “cutest”, and “most original”. An overall prize for “Best Witch” will be awarded to one person of any age, and an overall prize for “Best Group” will also be awarded.
