Louisiana Community Betterment Association and the City of Louisiana are hosting the annual National Night Out on Saturday, Aug. 5 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

National Night Out is an annual community building campaign that promotes Police-Community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. It also provides a positive opportunity to bring police and community together. Louisiana neighborhoods can choose to host block parties, festivals or any type of wholesome neighbor building activity.

One representative from each block party or event must call Louisiana City Hall at 573-754-4132 to register their event. This enables the Police Dept. to have a list of all events and gives them the opportunity to visit each event to get to know the people of that area!
