Hull of a Race for Parkinson’s Disease Runs, Rolls, and Walks into Their 19th Year Running for a Reason
Hull, Illinois-Hull of a Race, a nonprofit, a 501c3 volunteer organization, will hold their 19th annual race on Saturday morning, August 16th at 8:00 a.m. 3 events are featured: A competitive 5K and 10k run with age brackets for everyone, a competitive Kids’ Run, and a Fun Walk, Roll for those who do not run. In fact, running is prohibited in this particular event. We welcome all who would like to walk, roll, or be pushed in a wheelchair or stroller for this portion. Racers are provided with chipped bibs by Elvish Consulting, Alan Avery, providing professional timing Racers often achieve their best personal times with a flat, paved course though the cornfields and countryside at the edge of Hull. Top finisher ribbons, medals, and trophies will be awarded.

New this year is a Parkinsons’ Heroes tent for Parkinson’s patients and their families. 100% of proceeds are donated to the American Parkinson Disease Association, St. Louis division for Parkinson’s Disease Research.
This annual event is held in conjunction with the Hull Picnic, celebrating its 98th year. T-shirts are guaranteed to racers who register for the race by August 1st.
