The Pike County Area Anglers are bringing back their annual Crappie Bash, giving local anglers a chance to compete, connect, and support area students. This year’s tournament will feature two competition classes — Live Sonar and Traditional — so teams can choose the format that fits their fishing style.
Admission is $30 per boat, with an optional $10 entry for the Biggest Fish pot. The winning team will receive 75 percent of total proceeds, while the Biggest Fish payout is 100 percent of that pool. The remaining 25 percent of proceeds will benefit the local high school bass fishing team. A fish fry will follow the weigh-in for participants and attendees.
The event will be held at Pittsfield Lake at the East Boat Ramp. Launch time is 7:00 AM, with weigh-in scheduled for 12:00 PM. Anglers wanting more information can contact Zach at 217-491-7563.
