Sports Notes…The Bowling Green Bobcats Jakari Clark was selected to 3rd Team on the MO Class 2 All-State Football Team…The Brown County 7th grade girls basketball team on back-to-back perfect seasons and Illinois Elementary School Association Class 2A State Championships. The Hornets beat Bureau Valley in the championship game 34-18 after a commanding 22-5 halftime lead. Brown County closed out this year’s campaign with a record of 27-0 and 54-0 over the last two seasons. Aurie Lichtsinn led the Hornets in scoring with 18 points. Sydnee Kassing and Madison Ebbing each had 6 points in the title game.
