– Macon rallied with a run in the 5th and 2 runs in the 6th for the win.

– The Lady Cats went down 2-0 early to the 2-seed Lady Warriors of Winfield. That would still be the score in the 4th inning until Bowling Green’s Ava Schumacher would deliver a 2-run HR to tie up the game. A game that would then remain tied until the 13th inning when Lady Cat Reagan Jennings would score the winning run with a hit. Bowling Green’s Lyla Kent handled the pitching duties for the entire 13-inning contest and would throw 153 pitches – 106 of them strikes – in the win for the Lady Cats who advance to face 3-seed Macon tonight, in Macon, at 6:30.
