The local chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace will be holding a community bed building event on Saturday, February 22 from 8 am to 1 pm in Griggsville Illinois at 30494 IL Highway 107.  Sponsored by Rotary of Pike County, we will be building 40 beds to help get local kids off the floor at night.

Sleep in Heavenly Peace is a nationwide organization that builds and delivers beds to children ages 3 to 17 who are sleeping in an unsafe or uncomfortable situation.  Our chapter serves families in seven counties in west-central Illinois and northeast Missouri.  This is an opportunity for local volunteers to make a difference in the life of a child. No experience is necessary, and all tools and equipment are provided.  Workers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
