CLARKSVILLE, Mo — Zoe Boyer of World Bird Sanctuary offers a program with four-year-old Scout during Clarksville Eagle Days. The two-day event brought large crowds to town for eagle viewing, tours of Lock and Dam 24, Corps of Engineers programs, children’s activities, a taxidermy display and vendor booths. Clarksville hosts the oldest Eagle Days event in Missouri, dating to 1979. It’s sponsored by Raintree Arts Council.
Five-year-old Lillian Stinnett and her eight-year-old brother, Levi, design eagle faces. It was one of many children’s activities found at The Apple Shed during Clarksville Eagle Days. Lillian and Levi are children of Seairra and Dakota Stinnett of Curryville.
