Please plan to attend the Bowling Green Community Teachers’ Association  “Meet the Candidates Night” for the Bowling Green R-1 School Board Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. in the Bowling Green High School Auditorium. Four community members have filed their candidacy for two positions on the Bowling Green R-1 Board of Education: Scott Smith, Larry Twellman, Stephanie Sellars, and Austin Sloan. The positions are for three-year terms, and Election Day is April 2nd, 2024. More information about the candidates can be found on the school’s website http://www.bgschools.k12.mo.us .

Each candidate will be asked to give their responses to predetermined questions and will be available at the end of the event to answer individual questions or meet with community members. The Community Teachers’ Association hopes to see you there so we can all learn more about these candidates and make the most informed decision on Election Day.
