LOUISIANA, Mo. — Representatives from Louisiana Community Betterment Association presented Trinity Chatman and Scarlett Karmel-Fite with the Kids Doing the Right Thing award on Monday, January 12, 2024.

Trinity and Scarlett were nominated by Viki Cadwallader.  Viki nominated the 2 young ladies for their efforts in volunteering to pick up trash around the football field following a game.  The young ladies witnessed quite a few people just throwing trash on the grounds and they were upset to see people being so careless.  “Throwing trash around is never OK,” said Scarlett.

Congratulations to these two outstanding young ladies for caring about their school and the environment
