LOUISIANA, Mo – A drive around the community of Louisiana will tell you the Christmas spirit is alive! The Louisiana Community Betterment judges have selected this year’s winners in the Business and Residential decorating contest.  In the Business category, the winners are: 1st place, the Dempsey building, 314 Georgia St., 2nd place former Family Drug building, 301Georgia St. and 3rd place is Gambino’s Eatery, 221 Georgia St.

In the Residential category, the winners are: 1st place, 1901 Georgia St., 2nd place, 115 26th St., and 3rd place is 1200 N. Carolina. Letters have been sent to all the winners and check presentations will take place at a later date.  Louisiana Community Betterment Assoc. wishes to thank Carmen York and Viki Cadwallader for working with LCBA and the businesses and building owners to get our business district decorated and so festive!  They also thank each home owner who takes the effort to decorate their homes to light up the city of Louisiana for the Holiday season.  Congratulations to all the winners.
