CLARKSVILLE, Mo. — Members of the Ringling Family and the Raintree Arts Council board gathered Sept. 23 for the announcement of a substantial donation. The gift, in memory of Gene and Donna Ringling, will be used by Raintree to further upgrade The Apple Shed in Clarksville. A new roof and flooring have been installed in the last few years, and work is under way now to renovate the theater. The Ringling gift will be used to install additional disabled access and other needed projects. Raintree is a non-profit, multi-disciplinary arts organization serving Pike and Lincoln counties. More is available at www.raintreeartscouncil.org or on Facebook.
