PIKE COUNTY, Mo. — The Pike County Commission has voted to issue an Open Fire Burn Ban with the approval of the State Fire Marshall.
Due to the dry and excessively hot conditions, the Pike County Commission has issued an OPEN FIRE BAN throughout Pike County Missouri. These fire restrictions are in place due to prolonged sever drought conditions. Despite some local rain fall, these conditions still exist.
Non-aerial fireworks will be allowed for the July 4th Holiday. Any “missile” and “skyrocket” type of fireworks is prohibited pursuant to R.S. Mo. 49.266
