
LOUISIANA, Mo. — In honor of Independence Day, the Louisiana Area Historical Museum will be open special hours from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 4. A recent anonymous donation of an Army uniform, hat, gun, dog tags and shell casings from World War II is on display with other museum artifacts in the front window. A copy of the Declaration of Independence also is featured. A limited number of gifts will be available to children who stop by the museum on July 4. Regular summer hours at the facility, 304 Georgia Street, are 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesdays and 10 a.m. to noon Saturdays.
