LOUISIANA, Mo. — Just in time for the Bluegrass Pickers Festival, the Louisiana Area Historical Museum has a new display featuring local and international musicians. Included is information about jazz impresario Eddie South and the songs “Sweet Betsy From Pike” and “Joe Bowers.” The display also features Louisiana High School band items and records from the museum’s collection. The facility will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for the bluegrass festival May 13. There is no admission charge.
