KJFM SPORTS –The Silex Owls won big over Missouri Military Academy 19-4 on Monday.

Silex opened up scoring in the first inning. Chase Mullen drove in one when he singled.

The Owls tallied eight runs in the fourth inning. Max Lavy, Ian Beckham, Josh Price, Hunter Hubbard, Mullen, and Derek Kingan each drove in runs during the inning.

Price led things off on the pitcher’s mound for Silex. The righty allowed six hits and four runs over three and two-thirds innings, striking out six and walking one.

Delaplane toed the rubber for Missouri Military Academy. He surrendered five runs on five hits over two innings, striking out four.

Silex tallied 11 hits on the day. Hubbard, Tyler Twellman, Mullen, and Kameron Garcia each collected multiple hits for the Owls.
