BOWLING GREEN, Mo. — Pike County singer Debbie Ingram delighted a large audience July 9 with songs done by more than 15 women country performers between the 1950s and the 1970s. Artists featured included Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton, Tammy Wynette, Jean Shepard, Lynn Anderson, Donna Fargo and Bobbie Gentry. The concert, held at the Bowling Green High School Auditorium, was the first Ingram had done at the venue in four years. She urged the audience to sing along and dance if they wanted. The event was sponsored by Raintree Arts Council, a non-profit, multi-disciplinary arts organization that receives partial funding from the Missouri Arts Council, a state agency.
