PCHD will be hosting a Car Seat Safety event on Saturday, July 9 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Frankford Fire Dept.
They will be assisting you in ensuring the proper installation and usage of your infant and child car seats; all done by their Certified Passenger Safety (CPS) technicians!
The PCHD agency is a recognized Child Passenger Safety Inspection Station through National Safe Kids. Any member of the community can come by appointment and have a technician check their seat(s) for proper installation, correct improper installations and provide the necessary education needed to ensure future safety. Technicians will also verify if the seat(s) are on the recall list, and if so, will provide the necessary information about what to do in the event of a recall.
Call ahead for appointments so that they can ensure a Certified Passenger Safety Instructor is available, OR fill out the request form online.
CAR SEAT SAFETY CLASS
