LOUISIANA, Mo. — Paulette Powelson, left, was named Citizen of the Year during the Louisiana Chamber of Commerce’s annual banquet April 7. Powelson was recognized for more than 50 years of service and assistance to the community. Chamber Member of the Year went to Peacetree Farms and Abel Oil Co. was honored for Outstanding Service.
