BOWLING GREEN, Mo. — Codi Riegel, left, donates to the Salvation Army Pike County kettle drive as bell ringer Charlie Wright of the Bowling Green Lions Club looks on.
The not-for-profit North Eats Community Action Corporation (NECAC) is coordinating the campaign, and welcomes community groups and individuals to ring bells for one-hour shifts each day through Dec. 24.
To sign up, call NECAC Pike County Service Coordinator Chandra Roberts at 573-324-2207. In addition to kettle contributions, donors can round up their purchase inside Walmart and have the difference donated to the Salvation Army.
The goal this year has been raised to $10,000 due to increased needs caused by the COVID pandemic.
