SILEX, Mo. — Hall & Williams advance to State in FFA Public Speaking Contests. Nine Silex FFA members participated in the Area V Fall Public Speaking contests.

These speeches were done virtually.

Those placing 1st were Kacey Williams, (Missouri Pet Breeder’s Association); Lexi Plackemeier (Missouri Cattlemen’s Association); Allie Norton, (Missouri Farm Bureau), and Kylee Dameron (Missouri Quarter Horse).

Those placing 2nd were Makayla Schneider (Soil & Water Association); Natalie Kientzy, (Cooperatives); Allison Schneider (Pork Producers); Maddy Hall (Missouri Young Farmers); and Sara Gruenewald (Sheep Producers).

These members were able to advance & compete in the District Fall Public Speaking contest. This resulted in Maddy Hall & Kacey Williams, each placing 1st and moving on to State Competition.

Allison Schnieder, Lexi Plackemeier and Natalie Kientzy all placed 2nd at the District Level.

Congratulations to these FFA members for their hard work, dedication, confidence & leadership skills.
