BOWLING GREEN, Mo. — The North East Community Action Corporation is featured in another national publication.
A recent edition of the Community Services Block Grant Director’s Digest included a story about the agency’s Community Needs Assessment.
The assessment was done earlier this year, and covered a variety of topics. The top three findings were not enough adequate housing, a lack of living wage jobs and the need for better nutritional opportunities.
Counties covered were Lewis, Lincoln, Macon, Marion, Monroe, Montgomery, Pike, Ralls, Randolph, St. Charles, Shelby and Warren.
The assessment provides NECAC with a compass in determining the development of new programs and services. The agency has been featured in several national publications over the years.
