LOUISIANA, Mo. — Katie Niedner of PeaceTree Farms accepts the 2019 Louisiana Chamber of Commerce Member of the Year Award from President Layne Ebers. The onset of COVID forced the chamber to cancel its annual meeting and many monthly membership get-togethers. Niedner, whom Ebers called a tireless chamber volunteer and contributor, was still surprised when she finally received the honor at the group’s Oct. 5 monthly meeting. PeaceTree, located at 20100 Pike 267 just off of Highway WW east of Edgewood, is a family-run event center and organic farm that has a variety of Halloween and Christmas activities planned for the public.
