Pike County, Mo. Sheriff
Stephen Korte releases the following information pertaining to drug arrests
made by his deputies May 7th and 8th as a part of the
Sheriff’s Office ongoing narcotics investigations in the community.
Frankie Scott, 47, of Bowling Green, was
arrested and has been charged with three counts of drug violations. Count 1,
Class B Felony of Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Count 2, Class D Felony
Possession of Pseudoephedrine with the Intent to Manufacture Methamphetamine
and Count 3, Class C Felony Possession of a Chemical With the Intent to Create
Methamphetamine. Scott’s bond was set at $25,000 cash only.
William Jennings, 29 of Bowling Green, has been
charged with a class B felony of Possession of Controlled Substance With the
Intent to Distribute. Jennings’
bond was set at $25,000 cash only.
Donald Nelson, 58, of Bowling Green was
arrested and has been charged with a Class B Felony of Possession of a
Controlled Substance with The intent to Distribute. During this investigation,
Nelson was found to be in possession of approximately a pound of marijuana,
digital scales, and other paraphernalia consistent with distribution of illegal
drugs. Nelson's bond was set at $25,000 cash only.
Joseph Paul Miller, 25, of Clarksville was arrested
and has been charged with a Class C Felony of Possession of More the
Thirty-Five Grams of Marijuana. During
the investigation, Miller was found to be in possession of approximately 91
grams of marijuana. Miller’s bond was set at $15,000.
Burdette Law, 44, of Louisiana was arrested
and has been charged with a Class C Felony of Possession of Cocaine. Law’s bond
was set at $15,000 cash only.
All charges filed were done so by the Pike
County Prosecuting Attorney Mark Fisher, with all bonds being set by the
Honorable Judge David Ash. Sheriff
Stephen Korte would also like to thank the concerned citizens of Pike County,
the North East Missouri Drug Task Force (NEMO) and the Bowling Green Police
Department for information relayed to the Sheriff's Office pertaining to the
above mentioned cases.
All persons charged with a crime are assumed
innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
