Due to inclement weather last week, the following roads scheduled for chip seal operations in Lincoln and Pike Counties the week of June 21 have been postponed and will be rescheduled at a later date.  

Lincoln County – Route U (from Route J south of Troy to Route 61)
Pike County – Route W (Paynesville to Clarksville)
Pike County – Route WW (between D & W)
Pike County – Route D (Louisiana to Eolia – Route 79 to 61)

Chip
seal operations involve one-lane traffic with flaggers and pilot car
leading traffic through the work zone. On scheduled days, crews will be
working from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. with minor traffic delays.

All
roadwork is posted on the traveler information map on the day it
begins. Those traveling and the commuting public are encouraged to
check the online map at www.modot.org daily for new work zones. Drivers are also invited to rate MoDOT work zones online at modot.org.
