The Louisiana Chamber of Commerce is proud to
present the Louisiana July 4th Celebration in Louisiana, Missouri July 2nd thru
July 4th. The festivities kick off with Lowery Carnival rides on July 2nd
running through Sunday July 4th. On July 4th, in addition to the carnival
there are community activities to partake in. The Twin Pike Family YMCA is
hosting a 5k run in the morning hours. To find out the details contact the

Community fundraising activities and
food booths will open at 4 p.m. at the Riverfront Park and will include hot
dogs, drinks, BBQ, rootbeer floats and more with activities for the kids.
At 4:30 p.m., local musical group D.E.R.T. 4 takes the stage providing
the classic hits the way you remember them. Beginning at 7:30 p.m.,
another local band Mississippi Mud takes over providing the entertainment.
They have several original compositions as well as many familiar songs.
Mississippi Mud will play up until and into the beginning of the Fireworks
display which will begin after dusk.
The Two Rivers Boat Club will again
host the parade of boats on the Mississippi River (levels allowing)–a big hit
at previous years' events. The Fireworks display is a Louisiana tradition
and wouldn't be possible without the donations of many area businesses and
individuals as well as the fund raising efforts of the Louisiana Chamber of
Commerce. This year's Celebration is sure to be Loud and Proud and
everyone is invited to come and share in the fun and Celebrate our nation's
Independence Day.
