Pike County, Mo residents who suffered damage to their home from the recent flood should contact the County Clerks Office with your name, address and phone number. If you live inside city limit and had flood damage, call your city clerk and provide the same information.
Next week, on a date yet to be announced, the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) will be in the area to interview individuals, businesses and public entities with flood damage during the period from June 12 to the present. They will determine if the extent of the damages are large enough to be certified as a national disaster. If a national disaster certification is given for the area, both public and individual assistance will be available through FEMA.
