The Louisiana
Rotary Club will be participating in two fundraisers to help fund a
renovation of Sunset Park.  Members are excited at the prospect of
making much needed repairs and improvements at one of the city’s most
visible and utilized parks.

  The project will likely be done in phases
over a three year period.  The group gained valuable experience a few
years ago as they revamped the Riverview Park, adding play equipment and updating the bathroom, shelter and landscape.  The committee is reviewing current needs and are surveying the current inventory and it’s condition to determine the scope of the project. 

To help fund the project, the group is planning
to participate in the City Wide Yard Sale and a BBQ that will be held
