Voters in Louisiana are getting a chance to hear about the issues from city council and school board candidates.

  American Legion Post 370 is hosting a public forum on March 20th. It’s from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the legion building on Kelly Lane.

  
Candidates for three contested seats on the city council and one on the
school board have been invited. They’ll answer questions submitted by
news media and the audience.

   Crowd members may wear clothing or hats endorsing a candidate, but no political signs or banners will be allowed.

   The American Legion is hosting the event solely as a community service, and does not endorse candidates.
