Friday, April 19 at approximately 9:30 P.M., MoDOT crews closed MO Route 79 at Clarksville due to water over the road.

Traffic
is being detoured over Routes D and H. Local traffic from the south may
use Route H to Route W to enter Clarksville and from the north Route D
to Route WW to Route W.

MoDOT reminds motorists that it is
dangerous to drive into water-covered roads. Crews will open the roadway
as soon as the water recedes and has been cleared for safe travel.
