A two vehicle accident along Highway 54 at UU sent 6 people to the
hospital and a long line of backed up traffic yesterday in Pike County. A
truck driven by 16 year old Lloyd Cunningham of Louisiana failed to
yield turning on to highway 54 as another truck driven by 54 year old
Bradley Dorn of Woodstock Illinois was approaching.

Dorn, along with two
passengers abstained moderate injuries and were transported to Pike
County Memorial Hospital. Two passengers in the truck driven by
Cunningham also received moderate injuries and were also transported to
Pike County Memorial Hospital. Cunningham received minor injuries.
