Sny Island Levee Superintendent Mike Reed reported this morning
to KJFM that both Idot and Modot crews are preparing to close the Champ Clark Bridge
in Louisiana.

Before the crest prediction changes the crest was predicted to be
at 23.7 which would submerge half of the road on the Illinois side of the
river. Reed said that there is not a set time that the bridge is set to close but
with the forecasted predictions it could be sometime this afternoon into this
evening.
