MoDOT crews have been making progress this morning on minor roads, but unfortunately the wind continues to be a major factor in blowing and drifting snow over the smaller roads. Wind has picked up and shifted, so in addition to east/west minor roads, north/south roads will see more drifting. All minor roads in NE Missouri have been plowed at least once and are passable, but drivers are asked to drive slowly if you have to get out and watch for drifting. U.S. 36 eastbound at Shelbina continues to be closed as law enforcement and tow truck work to remove tanker from median.  Road is expected to be open within a few hours.  Detour is Bus. 36 and MO 15.
