The Twin Pike Family YMCA will be holding a Lifeguard Certification course beginning April 13^th. Applicants interested in the course will need to pick up a registration packet and have this turned back into the YMCA by April 7^th.  The applicant must be 16 years of age by the last day of the scheduled course to apply, May 3rd. If the applicant is under the age of 18 they will need to have a Parent/Guardian sign the consent form. There will be a $25.00 non refundable registration fee, which is to be paid by April 7^th. Applicants will need to pay an addition course fee of $200.00 by the end of the scheduled class, May 3^rd. Paying the course fee does not guarantee certification, nor does it imply an offer of employment.

If completed successfully, the applicant will receive their Lifeguard, CPR Pro for Professional Rescuer (including AED), Basic First Aid for the community, and Emergency Oxygen Administration Certifications. Upon successful completion the applicant will be eligible to apply for a position as a Lifeguard for the YMCA Louisiana City Pool or the YMCA Bowling Green City Pool. All applicants will need to fill out an employee application and schedule an interview that will be held in May.
