Weekend rains have added to water levels along the Mississippi River in Pike County Missouri and Illinois.
If there are no more showers, the river is expected to crest at about two-and-a-half feet above flood stage sometime next weekend in Louisiana and Clarksville.
A flood warning remains in effect along the river from Canton to Winfield.
Storms dumped two inches or more over the weekend in parts of the region. Farm fields in many places were swamped, but no road closings were reported.
