The Pike County Missouri Fair continues through Saturday and Clarksville is hosting its annual Sunflower Days this weekend.

The fair features the demolition derby Friday night and concerts by country musician Clay Walker and other artists Saturday night.

Admission ranges from 12 to 20 dollars. More information is available at www.pikecountyfair.org.

In Clarksville, artists will gather from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday to put up their easels and paint the town.

Visitors are welcome to stop by and watch the painters in action or buy one of the finished products. A similar event is planned for September 13th in Louisiana.
