Bowling Green may be putting the brakes on zoning changes.
The Chamber of Commerce is seeking the delay after the city’s zoning commission recommended aldermen approve the measures.
The chamber presented petitions at Monday’s Board of Aldermen meeting with more than 130 signatures supporting the postponement.
The chamber has a list of more than 15 objections to the proposal, and is worried that commercial and residential development could suffer.
More discussions on the issue are planned.
