Authorities say a train derailment that blocked Highway 79 in Louisiana remains under investigation.
One empty car of an eastbound Kansas City Southern train derailed on the railroad bridge around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
There were no injuries and no hazardous materials were involved. The accident blocked traffic for a time on Highway 79 at the railroad crossing near the Bunge grain terminal.
A Kansas City Southern spokeswoman said the main railroad line re-opened about 2:30 Wednesday morning.
