There will be lots of growling for a good cause in Bowling Green a year from now.
At least 100 members are expected for the Lions Club District Convention on April 1st and 2nd of 2016.
Bowling Green businessman and current Lions District Governor John Deters made the announcement.
It’s the first time the service organization has held the event in Bowling Green. The district covers 21 Missouri counties and includes 60 clubs with more than 14 hundred members.
Meetings will be held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Saint Clement, with members and their guests staying in local hotels and visiting other businesses.
