The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced that Central Methodist’s Matt Denton, Austin Rapp and Brendan Ross are among the men’s golf student-athletes to have been named 2015 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes.

Denton is a junior from Warrenton, Mo., Rapp is a senior from Boonville, Mo., and Ross is a junior from Louisiana, Mo.

Campbellsville (Ky.) led all NAIA institutions with eight individuals on the list.

In order to be nominated by an institution’s head coach or sports information director for this honor, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved junior academic status.
