More money is on its way to help Northeast Missouri homeowners with needed repairs.
The North East Community Action Corporation has been awarded more than 26 thousand dollars through a housing preservation grant from USDA.
The grant will pay for repairs at owner-occupied homes in Lewis, Macon, Marion, Monroe, Montgomery, Pike, Ralls, Randolph and Shelby counties.
Work that can be done includes roof repairs and replacement, disabled accessibility, siding, minor plumbing and electrical work, and heating system repairs or replacements.
For more information, call a NECAC County Service Center. Numbers also are available on the NECAC Facebook page.
