Court records show summonses were to be issued Monday (March 28) in one of two lawsuits filed against Louisiana city officials.
Former City Administrator Bob Jenne and former City Clerk Sharon Kakouris claim they were illegally dismissed last year due to age discrimination and say city officials retaliated against them. Kakouris also claims sex discrimination. Mayor Bart Niedner has denied the charges.
Jenne names the mayor and four former councilmen in his lawsuit. They were to get summonses Monday. Court records show similar documents were issued last week in the other lawsuit.
Hearing dates have not been scheduled.
