NECAC will soon have a new service center in Ralls County.
The social service agency held a ceremonial groundbreaking Monday (June 12) on Main Street in New London.
The 21-hundred-square-foot, one-story facility will replace the two-story structure gutted by fire on October 21st 2015. Money from an insurance settlement will cover the 205 thousand dollar cost.
In addition to offering NECAC programs, the new building will house administrative operations of NECAC’s 41-county In-Home Health Services program.
Completion is expected by September. Until then, the NECAC service center will remain at the Ralls County Courthouse in New London.
