A “Honor Flight” fundraiser is being held on Sunday, November 5 from

11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Pike County Fairgrounds Hall.  (Don’t forget the time changes that day.) The meal will consist of spaghetti, salad, bread, dessert and drink. All proceeds from the day will be donated to the Great River Honor flight program.

Pike County 4-H would like to assist with the honoring of our country’s veterans. “This is a small way that our program can give back to the many veterans that have served our country,” commented Patty Fisher, 4-H Youth Specialist. The 4-H program serves youth ages 5 to 18 through a community club program. Our mission is to engage youth as valued, contributing members of their communities in partnership with caring adults.
